WRITING CONTEST: In Recess, Prosecutor Well-being

--

Contributing Author: NDAA’s Well-being Task Force

We are excited to announce our first ever writing contest. For this year’s writing contest, your goal is to write a short essay and capture a single idea about life as a prosecutor or in a prosecutor’s office. Topics ideas are endless, but here are a few:

What is your go-to tool on a challenging day?

What is your greatest source of frustration?

How do you balance parenthood and work immersed in trauma?

Have you read a good book that might help other prosecutors?

How do you unwind?

What is your favorite workout/app/video/podcast and why?

What would you say to your younger you?

Who is your mentor?

Who inspires you to be a better version of yourself?

We need your words. Your challenges are unique and your solutions would benefit others who are struggling and help improve the culture of our profession. Submissions need not be long, edited or technically perfect. We just want to hear your story, and drafts are welcome. Please share with anyone who may be interested.
